Thank you for your interest in bringing holiday cheer to the streets of Owen Sound! Before you apply, please review the important information below.

Parade Theme:
Memory Lane – A Trip Back to 1945
This year, we’re travelling back in time! We invite you to capture the spirit of 1945 with floats inspired by the iconic music, fashion, and celebratory joy of that era.

Entry Requirements To create a magical experience for the whole community, all entries must meet the following standards:

Full Decoration: All floats, vehicles, and walking groups must be fully decorated in a festive manner. Entries with minimal decorations may not be permitted to participate.
Music: Music is highly encouraged to bring your entry to life and entertain the crowd!

To ensure a smooth process, please complete the application form below in full. Incomplete forms may not be accepted.

Registration Opens: Monday, September 29, 2025

Application Deadline: Monday, November 10th, 2025 @ 7pm

Application Fee Information

For Commercial & Business Floats:
An entry fee is required. Please submit payment along with your application form. Funds will be held and only processed after your application has been approved. A confirmation email will be sent once the payment is complete.

For Community & Non-Profit Groups:
You are not required to pay an entry fee if you are a school, non-profit, faith-based or government organization, volunteer or youth group, or a parade character. Please complete the application form, and we will contact you with further instructions.

Registration for the 2025 Santa Claus Parade is now officially closed.

We are thrilled by the incredible response from our community. A huge thank you to all the businesses, community groups, and families who have registered to bring this year’s theme, “Memory Lane: A Trip Back to 1945,” to life!

For all confirmed entries: We can’t wait to see your amazing floats this Saturday, November 15th!
For those who missed the deadline: We hope you’ll come downtown to enjoy the parade and consider joining us with an entry in 2026.
